Woman's World, WTF?

Ok, folks. This was regodsdamneddiculous. There was a headline on Woman's World mag that said: FROM A SIZE 18 TO A BEAUTY QUEEN! What the FUCK were you asshats thinking? A woman who is a size 18 CAN'T be a beauty queen, or beautiful to you guys? Says WHO?!?! Your idea of beauty is certainly NOT mine.

That headline offended me to the point that I will never buy your magazine again.

Yes, I am happy the woman who was the center of that article lost weight and became happier with her life. But that does not mean that every woman who is over weight or a BBW needs to lose weight to be happy or beautiful.

You, Woman's World, need to rethink your wording and maybe your reporters.

Hey, Comcast/Xfinity. YOU SUCK!

On the Friday before Christmas, we had AT&T Uverse installed for tv, internet and phone. Why, after 5 + years of Comcast, did we change? First of all, customer service. IT SUCKS! A few months ago, we went in to pay our bill and inquired about what we could do to reduce our monthly bill. The lady behind the counter handed us a pamphlet and said: NEXT! Excuse me??? She brushed us off. We were just biding our time after that. When we went in to drop off all boxes and remotes after the AT&T install, low and behold, it was the SAME woman we went to. She was barely civil to us during the drop off. As we left, I said, Merry Christmas. Her reply? Yeah, you too. Excuse me? Did we or did we NOT, hear you wish the 2 previous customers to us a Merry Christmas BEFORE they did to you? CUSTOMER SERVICE... Yeah. Right. Bite me, COMCAST. We are done with you. Plus, we are getting MORE thru AT&T for LESS than what we were paying YOU!!! AND my husband has a faster connection for his work!

So, people, before you decide to use COMCAST for cable/net/phone, DON'T! They suck. Oh, and their dropped connection percentage was high. Every day we had dropped or seriously lessened connection rates. So far, everything is steady with AT&T.
